Luke Falconer
Luke Falconer is one of our youngest participating artists, though don’t let his young age fool you. Luke has been involved in the arts for as long as he can remember, with generations of artists and foundrymen dotted along his family tree. The original Falconer foundry, “Bird Man Foundry” achieved a Platinum level of contribution to the Parks Board for outstanding service to conservation.
The Falconer family has run a bronze foundry in the Midlands area for decades now (currently “Falconer Art Studios”), a fact that has helped Luke to develop an incredible combination of skill sets within the Sculpting field of expertise. Through the foundry, Luke has been a witness and contributor to works by nearly every participating artist, and has developed his own unique style of work that comes from a nearly bottomless pool of inspiration.
Luke recently sold out of his minimalist Kingfisher bronze piece and is currently working on pieces for the auction. This will be Luke’s first involvement with a charitable drive for conservation as an artist.
Featured Art

Aiko
Patinaed Bronze Sculpture by Luke Falconer
Normally mistaken for our very own Justin who works in house at the gallery, Aiko is an incredible bust sculpted by Luke which has a unique finish about it in the sense that he managed to make bronze have the appearance of polished metal unlike many of the pieces at the Platform.
Mr Otter
Patinaed Bronze Sculpture by Luke Falconer
Beautiful free standing miniature otter sculptures that are seen to be breaching the water surface.

Oko
Patinaed Bronze Sculpture by Luke Falconer
Oko, another bust by the talented Luke Falconer, is the face of a slender individual. The contours and symmetry of his face is a look Luke took a long time to get to be just as he envisioned it
