The Platform showcases the best fine art that KZN has to offer.

From oil paintings to pencil sketches and sculptures, there is a little something for everyone inside our beautiful space.

The gallery boasts one of the largest collections of sculptures for sale in South Africa, with over 80 works created from bronze, stone, wood, and other natural materials.

Along with the sculptures, there are over 50 paintings, sketches, and prints for you to marvel at when you step through our doors.

If the fine art isn’t enough, we also feature more practical masterpieces, like the many bespoke furniture pieces and smokeless fire pits that are all made locally, from fine art to beautifully crafted home furnishings, everything at the Platform will catch eyes and strike up endless conversations in your home.

The Platform Gallery is situated in the old Lion’s River railway station along the R103 in the beautiful Midlands of KZN. This arthouse is still conceived as a recent addition to the area having only been operational for three years. It is ever-growing, ever-changing in the masterpieces that are displayed be it a tiny painting or print to the largest of towering sculptures.
