Vincent Reid
Vincent Reid has been sketching the natural world since he was a young boy growing up in Zimbabwe. After nearly 20 years spent as a designer, he broke off to pursue his passion and true calling as an artist in 2011. A professional artist for the last 10 years, his work is some of the most popular coming out of KwaZulu-Natal in recent memory.
Vince starts each project off by immersing himself in the African bushveld of Southern Africa, often times right alongside his family. His immersion into the world of wildlife is to better study and understand the nature of his subjects, and to capture photographs of the intimate moments that make his work come to life. His mastery of the artform is apparent to anyone who comes across his work; the photo-realism he is able to achieve leaves everyone who comes across his drawings in awe.
Vincent has previously worked with conservation groups such as the Zululand Rhino Horn Foundation, among others, and is always excited to be able to give back to the world in which he immerses himself.
